Why Legacy

You may be asking, “Why would anybody go to a tiny start-up school in the middle of nowhere?” We get it! New things can be scary and unsure. But we have a list of reasons that we think will make a difference in your consideration.

  • You will be a pioneer! Every school had to have a beginning. There were days when no one had heard of Harvard or Oxford, or Bob Jones University or Maranatha Baptist University either. God has ordained times and seasons for each school (or any other entity for that matter). And this is Legacy Trade College’s time!
  • You will have the blessing of seeing God’s provision for all the things that are necessary to start this school. Watching God work is a sure way to increase your faith and grow in your relationship with Him. And what a foundation for you to carry with you as God directs your life and ministry, too!
  • The education you will receive at LTC is out-of-the-box and unique. There are not many places where you can receive a solid Bible education and training in the industrial arts at the same time. Sadly, this combination of majors has not been at the top of the list for other schools. But we know from traveling the country and talking to many of you, that it is needed. Come help us make it a reality for many more who will follow in your steps!
  • Personalized education is a reality here. With a smaller number of students, you will receive one-on-one instruction from your teachers. And you can direct your studies in a very specific ways.
  • Your time at Legacy will prepare you for life. There is no magic formula for this. It takes personal involvement from your leaders, patience as you learn, and an awareness of God’s leading in your life. That can happen more easily at a small college than in a very large one, where students are just numbers.
